– Have a mission statement that evokes emotion and passion, something that when you say it, you are completely authentic. People will sense this from you.

– Create a Storyboard that provides a clear story of who you are and what you do that is easy for people to understand. Avoid Jargon!

– Embed your mission, purpose and passion into your business. This can be a challenge as you need to test it regularly.

– Be open to change. The care sector is going through a massive transition at the moment.

– Promote giving feedback both from clients and care professionals. Embrace it. It’s hard to do but you will be a better business if you learn from it.

– Working in care has so many rewards but not many look at this as a real career pathway opportunity. Promote any stories you have on how your care professionals have progressed in your business.
